Aaah gli inglesi, ne sanno una più del diavolo. Ad esempio lose e miss significano la stessa cosa (perdere), e noi diciamo “i lose my book” e “i miss the bus”, la differenza è che quando usiamo lose l’oggetto in questione ci appartiene, al contrario di quando usiamo miss. Ecco perché noi diciamo I miss you, oltre a significare mi manchi, ci ricorda che nessuno ci appartiene realmente.
